Daniel never goes anywhere without his guide dog, Donner. In addition to the usual culture shock that comes with traveling far from home, he faced the challenge of navigating a country that doesnt grant seeing eye dogs the same access as hes accustomed to in the States.
On this episode of the Globejotting Travel Podcast, Dave Fox (who lives in Singapore) talks with Daniel about visiting a country with some strict No Dogs Allowed policies, as well as what its like to explore a foreign land as a blind person, and the thrill of indoor skydiving.
Also: A tribute to scuba diving pioneer and underwater filmmaker Stan Waterman, who recently threw an inspirational retirement party.
