Hey there, lovely listeners! Julie and Tevin were the resounding crackle of INSPIRATION for this midwife to bring help for better births to second time births. This is THEM! Julie and Tevin! Julie and Tevin changed how I thought about what I was doing and what they needed - what all my families need - to get that better birth.
So today we get to dive into the heartwarming world of Julie and Tevin. They share their experience of a hard first birth - labor with an epidural, being checked for dilation frequently, getting no support, feeling numb, and not being able to move during the labor process.
Then how, for their second baby, Julie and Tevin realized the significance of listening to her body. They share how they cultivated his full support, and how Tevin became secure in his role as her rock. He actually learned how to TRUST and be calm in their birth - which made the process ENJOYABLE for him. This, my friends, is GOLD.
