Nikki chats with Ben Syne about his journey bucking the traditional education system and what that means for him as a non-sacral being (Projector). They talk about stepping into the second stage of his 6-line life, alchemizing experiences into wisdom.

Ben is a tech-obsessed hackademic and who tries to read a book a week on average. Instead of going to university I decided to learn through experience and mentorship. Tech moves fast and if you want to keep pace, you can't wait for school to catch up.
His talent is understanding people and their motivations. This has served him well, as a startup is a story of people. Building a team that can make magic happen is a delicate dance and understanding how people think, make decisions, get along and getting the best out of them is something that I am deeply fascinated by.
After starting a successful media business when Ben was 19 and building that out for 4 years, he followed his intuition and founded DogSync. Recently he started venture scouting and early stage startup advising with the aim of nurturing talent and relationships at idea stage. With this talent he makes curated intros to investors, makers, designers and founders.
