Join me as we explore some of the key social norms of lifts and escalators

Who presses the buttons? Where do you stand? Who goes first? Is it ever ok to sit down in a lift or an escalator and so much more!

This episode we are diving into the wonderfully weird world of everyday meal‑time norms. Can you eat vegemite for breakfast, lunch and tea? Who remembers the Kantong or Cottees cordial jingles? Are elbows on the table or sitting on the couch to eat really that bad? Is it socially acceptable to sneak a bite before everyone’s been served, or leave the table during the meal?

And of course, we’ll be unpacking my Nanna’s favourite saying, “elegant sufficiency”.
