OH RICH MEN

Why take by force

That which you can handle with love

it's hard to kick against the bricks

Set your gaze upon the fountain that gives

To the wise is foolishness

To simple is meekness and obedience

The heart of your laborers is sick

Locked up in cell built with stick

He was sick because of your terms and conditions

She died before her kids from hypertension

Very hard to live, because she couldn't pay her bills

Why not consider the days you beg when you are in need

because you were once like the needy

Now you are rich, the pain is gone from you

health is wealth they say

So hard to eat from the crumbs that fell from your table

Not too sure if you are wealthy

Your reward is quick and fat

Your wealth are stained with wrath

But the cries of them

which have reaped

are entered

into the ears of the Lord

Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth,

ye have nourished your hearts,

as in a day of slaughter.

Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he does not resist you.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of Jesus

Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receives the early and latter rain.
