"Her father always found himself quoting Zig Ziglar around her, often advising her that: 'Repetition is the mother of learning, the father of action, which makes it the architect of accomplishment.' She learned otherwise, through what she experienced. For it takes an unrequited love to know true loneliness, yet also, to know how to love truly.. and fully.
What she learned about repetition was that it is the means with which to abandon something, or at the very least, to develop disinterest towards it. Be it her favorite song, or her favorite meal eaten all days of the week, or writing his name in her notebooks over and over, she learned that much like a blade that is used over time, or an 'I love you' is spoken more often than shown, it loses purpose...meaning over time. This is how she learned the nature of the world, the harsh reality; when you heart gets broken, as much as you cling onto others for comfort and refuge, you will eventually find yourself picking up the pieces of your tattered heart by yourself. A heart broken once loved wholeheartedly, yet may never do so again.."
