On February 16, a special concert of Contemporary Catholic music will be performed at the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York City. The program is called: The Compassion of Christ: A Journey of Justice, Hope and Peace, and it features inspiring works by three nationally acclaimed composers - Janet Sullivan Whitaker, Jesse Manibusan and Curtis Stephan - all of whom will be performing selections from their own works. The conductor for the evening is Stephen Petrunak, Music Director at St.Blaze Church in Sterling Heights, and a faculty member at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. Steve is our guest today on Notes From Above.
