TRIGGER WARNING: IN THIS EPISODE WE DISCUSS SUICIDE, SUICIDAL IDEATION AND MENTAL HEALTH STRUGGLES.
Welcome to another episode of Loud It Up. In this episode I discuss my recent reads, "A Little Life" by Hanya Yanigahara and "Notes On Suicide" by Simon Critchley. I discuss the taboo nature surrounding suicide. Towards the end of the episode I also redefine what 'Loud It Up" is and what I aim to achieve with it.
Loud It Up is an unapologetic, unfiltered podcast which facilitates conversations with underrepresented women who are all about being unapologetically themselves, living loudly and proudly within all aspects of our identity.
If you enjoyed this episode, please subscribe, share and leave a review. I would also love to hear your thoughts on any of the books I mentioned, if you've read them and any other recommendations you have for me. Thank you for all the support thus far.
