There is nothing wrong in talking about your testimony when sharing the Gospel. Just be careful about where you place them.
For you or we are not the message
We talk about the experiences of Jesus Christ
We speak about the one who is the perfect one, for we are not perfect
outside him. We are God`s messenger on this earth. And as a messenger, we deliver the message. The messenger is not the message.
He is the only one who can save us. He died so that we may live.

God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. One thing we should understand from this verse is that our victory in Christ is God’s own way of showing that He has also won
It shows that we are God’s success story; we are God’s attraction. What do you know about Christ if you say you are a believer?

We have to explain the impact of Christ death, burial and resurrection to those we are preaching the Gospel.

When preaching the Gospel, as Paul made it clear in 1 Cor 2 :1-4;
We should rely only on the power of the Holy Spirit.
We must not package the message into a bubble ream.
The Gospel has already been set.
Hence, there should be no excuse.
In the message of the Gospel, we are seeing God’s righteousness, and not our righteousness.
The Gospel of God is coming to sinners, the Gospel of God is brought to sinners by us.
The Gospel of God is telling the sinner to come as you are, for God has already made a way through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ has already made us right in God’s sight, come as you are.
Luke 24:47: 47 And that repentance and remission of sins should
be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
The remission of sin is the forgiveness of sin, which is the message that we share.

The message is what God has done through Christ Jesus.
God is working through the words that we preached and the word is working through God
We cannot separate God from the message that we preached
He is in the message

When Jesus gave his Disciples in Meth 28:18-20 or Mark 16:15-20

So, we are not just messenger of the message but also messenger of a person in the message

You are perfect in Christ Jesus and you don`t have to be knowledgeable enough to shear the Gosepl
Apostle Paul said in 1 Cor 2:1-5 And as for myself,
brethren, when I came to you, it was not with surpassing power of eloquence or earthly wisdom that I came, announcing to you that which God had commanded me to bear witness to.
