Get Out of My Way

Nothing Ever Ends Once (Guest Episode with Emily Dall’Ora Warfield)

Listen Later

Lizz and Brianna chat with Emily Dall’Ora Warfield about the cyclical nature of trauma (and maybe...everything?), the names we choose for ourselves, sex work, digital surveillance, the role of storytelling in healing PTSD/CPTSD, and how zines are the wave of the future (and punk as hell!).

More about our guest:

Emily Dall’Ora Warfield is the nom de guerre of a second-year MSW student, sex worker, BDSM educator, advocate and organizer, erstwhile researcher and sometimes writer based in the New York City metro area. She’s published essays, poetry, and reviews for Mask Mag, Ache Mag, and Tits & Sass, a blog by and for sex workers. She is also the author (under another name) of the super fab cult hit mega-zine, Girl With The Most Cake: The Lori Adorable Story and is in the process of relaunching her zine making non-career this hideous new year.
