For our October cookbook ep we had the ~pleasure~ of reviewing Alison Roman's second book, Nothing Fancy. We made many items: Buttered Salmon with Red Onion and Dill, Buttered Turmeric Rice with Crushed Almonds and Herbs, Caramelized Garlic on Toast with Anchovies, and the Casual Apple Tart with Caramelized Buttermilk.
