Lately, I’ve been turning over this wild idea in my head; how the whole world’s freaking out about AI taking jobs, but meanwhile, populations are actually shrinking all over the place.
It’s kind of wild to see these slow-motion shifts, after nearly a century of worrying about overpopulation, and now I’m wondering if maybe AI’s timing isn’t just a coincidence. I mean, what if all these productivity boosts and automation breakthroughs could actually help us handle fewer workers and more retirees?
Maybe it’s not all doom and gloom, maybe it’s a chance to rethink how we live, work, and care for each other. It’s definitely got me thinking, and I’m curious to hear what you all make of it.
