Following a homerun with the first Avengers and a strong showing in 2014, Marvel seemed poised to hit another homerun with the hotly anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron. The sequel alluded to a much deeper, darker movie. Reception however, wasn't quite as strong. While it did of course make another $1B critic and audience reception was a little more mixed. Today this is regarded as easily the worst of the Avengers films. Is there any merit to that? Let's discuss
