Noun A "no" Noun B

In this lesson, I will introduce one of the particle called "no", which connects nouns.

For "noun A の noun B", noun B, the second noun always shows the main idea. Noun A, the first noun add more information on noun B, the main idea.


これ は とよた の くるま です。

This is Toyota's car.


にほん の たべもの

Japanese food


だいがく の がくせい

University student


アメリカ の だいがく

University in the US


さとうさん の ともだち は だいがく の がくせい です。

Mr. Sato's friend is an university student.
