In 2 Chronicles 25, we encounter King Amaziah — a man who began his reign with obedience, yet failed to follow the Lord with a whole heart. Though he initially listened to God's Word and acted with courage, pride and compromise eventually led him into idolatry, defeat, and destruction. Amaziah's life teaches us that partial obedience is disobedience, and that success without humility leads to downfall. The Lord desires not outward conformity alone, but a heart fully devoted to Him.
