In this special bonus episode of Novel Ideas, we go live from the New Orleans Poetry Festival, April 21-22, 2018. The Fest began in 2016 as the brainchild of Megan Burns of Trembling Pillow Press and Bill Lavender of Lavender Ink/Dialogos. It has grown exponentially since then, and it is a space for an inclusive and diverse group of writers to collaborate, share, and influence each other while also being immersed in the distinct literary culture of New Orleans.

Candice brings you twelve, two to six minute conversations with a variety of voices from this intersectional fest of poets. We truly hope you enjoy listening to these conversations as much as we enjoyed having them.
