Waiting can be really hard. Believers hear the promises of God and long for them to be revealed. It can seem like every benefit is in the future instead of the present. Yet even while we wait, God is providing for and producing in us blessings of his grace.

Today’s Focus:

When you know what heaven is like, it’s hard to wait. John’s Revelation hardly scratches the surface of what we long for. It’s so different from our reality now, especially when we see Jesus’ words. Having lived a life going against the grain of this world, Jesus moves us by his gospel to live in preparation for heaven. And in this way we are truly blessed.
