Hour 1:

My first guest tonight won the 2nd annual Kingsford Invitational BBQ Championship this past weekend.  You remember him from last week…if you have ever questioned the show karma, I’m sure you don’t anymore, Darren Warth from Iowa’s Smokey D’s joins me to recap the big win and what they have planned for the rest of the year.

We continue the KFI talk but switch it from a cook’s point of view and go to the judges tent.  Brad Orrison from The Shed will join me to give us an insider’s look at what the judges got and how they evaluated the turn-ins…ultimately coming up with an overall winner!

Hour 2:

In the second hour, we go WFC for the entire hour!  Chad Ward fromWhiskey Bent BBQ joins me to recap their weekend in Vegas…gives me his take from both a cook’s perspective and from a radio show host’s perspective!

Next up, George Shore from Pitmaker joins me to talk about winning the BBQ side of things at WFC…and what happened at the final table!  We will also talk a bit about their pits…easily some of the most impressive builds on the market today!
