"Jesus is saying by your endurance your soul will gain so much. Our souls are where the image and likeness of God are to be found. It affects every part of our being; body, mind, and soul, however it abides in our soul. And so to gain our soul I think means to fully realize and bring to the fore the reflection of that image and likeness that is within us."
