Residential school survivors and community leaders have called on Pope Francis to issue a formal apology for the Roman Catholic Church’s role in running residential schools across Canada. Rocky Norwegian, of the Fort Norman Métis Community and a residential school survivor, speaks about why an apology without accountability is meaningless.
