Today, November 20th, is the international Transgender Day of Remembrance: a day meant to honour the memory of transgender people who have lost their lives to acts of anti-transgender violence. Violence against transgender people is a serious problem, so it's important for us to make sure that WCI is a safe environment for our trans students. We can all do our part by thinking before we speak, making our peers feel accepted and treating each other with kindness.
