On this special Thanksgiving Eve service, we see how the warning from Moses to Israel in Deuteronomy 8 -- "You don't live by bread alone, but by everything that comes from the mouth of the LORD" -- is perfectly fulfilled in Jesus Christ. In Jesus, we are already perfectly grateful, thankful, and dependent on God for all things.
