Horticulturist, Nita-Jo Rountree is hosting the show today while I am "recovering" from my Chicago trip. I broke some ribs ... not at a Cubs game but whilst walking my brother's labradoodle. I am doing great but it still hurts a wee bit to laugh. Nita-Jo will be speaking at the fast approaching Northwest Flower and Garden Show (Wednesday, Feb 22 at 3:00 pm and Saturday, Feb 25 at 2:15 pm). Plus she will be signing her new Rose book (out in mid-January). Her guest is Richie Steffen, Curator of the Miller Botanical Garden.
