The problems in Nehemiah 13:

  • Some people were too exclusive (v1–3)
  • Some leaders were too inclusive (v4–9)
  • The people abandoned their earlier vows (v10–22)
  • The leaders were also to blame (v17, 23–28)

    • Responding to the reality of sin:

    • Nehemiah’s limited response (v8–13, 19–22, 25–28)
