In this episode Kat's past injury on the ice comes back to haunt her as she fails her senior test and deciedes to quit ice skating all together. We watch as Kat's mother struggles with Bi-Polar Depression and the effects it has on her younger sister Serena. Kat's boyfriend Dave asks her to move to London with him. She agrees after a fight with her mother which drives her to pack her bags and move out of the house. Justin and his family try to convince Kat to step in as his new partner but she refuses. Kat throws her skates out the car window as she drives throwing away any last hopes of skating again until she turns around, picks her skates up, and smiles as she drives back into town.
