Some Good Tea

Now It's Lore. Ep. 34

Listen Later

Fairytales are fun right? Children stories, right? Not always, but folklore and fairy tales can give us insights into our history and our own humanity. In this episode, Katie and her guest Ally explore and discuss folk lore and fairy tales. From the cultural connections and deeper meanings, to the creepy patterns and strange creatures that appear in these old and new stories. They will revel in the strange and intriguing world of folk lore. They are enjoying Bengal Spice by Celestial Seasoning while they explore the realms of fairy tale logic, the oddly violent children’s stories, and question at what point something goes from simple fiction to full blown folk lore.
