In Acts 1, the disciples are left feeling disoriented and all sorts of emotions after Easter: joy because of the risen Jesus but also distraught from Judas' betrayal and apprehension about what's to come next. Jesus leaves the disciples with proof of his resurrection and with the power of his Holy Spirit to carry out the mission that they're called to.
