We begin a new series this week looking at the appearances that Jesus made and interactions he had after his resurrection. In this episode, we look at Christ's conversation with the two men on the road to Emmaus, and how Jesus explained to them that the resurrection should not have been a surprise...the scriptures and prophets of old had told of it for centuries. In our own lives today, we have a tendency to want new and special revelations from God, when what we really need is to search the word he's already given us, for when we do, we find all the examples and instructions we need to live abundant and God-pleasing lives.
