The Mississippi Writers Trail will officially launch with the unveiling of two historical marker prototypes, honoring Eudora Welty and Jesmyn Ward, as part of the 2018 Mississippi Book Festival and today we’ll speak with the man who sparked the initiative, Malcolm White, Executive Director of the Mississippi Arts Commission and owner of the legendary Hal & Mal’s restaurant in downtown Jackson.
