October 12 The Man Called Legion: Jesus Goes Where He’s Wanted | Luke 8:26–39 | Brad Jones

Jesus is still on the move, still working miracles, and still showing up where He's wanted. On Baptism Sunday at North Phoenix Church, guest speaker Brad Jones of Passion City Church in Atlanta teaches from Luke 8:26–40, the story of Jesus crossing the lake to free the demon-possessed man called Legion.

The disciples were nervous about going to the other side. Jesus went straight to the man everyone else avoided. When the town asked Jesus to leave, the healed man begged to come along. Jesus sent him home instead, with an assignment: go tell how much God has done for you.

Brad unpacks three truths from this passage:
1. Jesus is still on the move, and He invites us to move with Him.
2. Jesus is still doing miracles, including freedom, healing, and people restored to their right mind.
3. Jesus is still showing up, and God goes where He's wanted.
