The NPPF consultation includes proposals the government hopes will lead to sustainable and economic growth by supporting development relating to key growth industries, paving the way to Net Zero through clean energy and the delivery of (affordable) housing. Key topics include housing targets and tenures, Benchmark Land Values, CPO, planning contributions and a host of colourful development land terminologies, including brownfield, green belt, the new ‘grey’ belt and the ‘golden rules’.
