Due to the first inflences as Jeffmills, CarlCox and the portuguese, Underground Sound of Lisbon. He decided to start playing, doing dj set’s that could put any style lover to dance like there is no tomorrow. He also started going to parties, always with great attention to line-up’s and the work that the DJs in question had been developing. You could say that the turn really serious to techno in 2009, when Cardão attended the Coimbra Dance Fest where he saw Jeff Mills and Carl Craig for the first time live. The sounds of Detroit quickly seized his heart and mind. It was then that his dj set’s began to gain a new form: more powerful, rawer, mental and industrial. Among the major influences that helped Cardão to get where he is today there is Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Surgeon, Oscar Mulero, Truncate, Pfirter, Deepbass, among others.
