NRC Episode Sixty-Four: Halo's Joseph Staten, Star Wars Celebration; MAX Streaming Platform

In the Sixty-Fourth Episode, Legendary Halo writer, Joseph Staten, departs Microsoft and joins Netflix for an unannounced AAA Game in development. Sony continues to whine as it becomes more and more apparent that the Activision-Blizzard/Xbox Deal may go through following regulatory boards giving their approval over the deal, Resident Evil 4 Remake, which is a remake of a near two decade video game, had a new patch that not only released the free Mercenary mode, but implemented MICROTRANSACTIONS into the predominantly single-player game, I dunno guess Capcom couldn’t let go of doing something shady.
WarnerBros. Discovery, the company that has continuously pissed fans off for the past year of decisions that now is catching the eye of the US Government, has announced the end of HBO MAX, and in its place comes…MAX…just MAX…because apparently, with no citation or market data to back it up, parents were scared off of the HBO brand name because parents are apparently just that dumb in the world of David Zaslav, while also unveiling the prices of the service and productions such as The Penguin set after The Batman movie.
Star Wars Celebration was in full swing, and unveiled a ton of new projects set in the Galaxy Far Far Away, the highlights include the unveiling of AHSOKA in a new official trailer, a new Star Wars Horror comic event called Dark Droids, Star Wars Visions 2, Bad Batch season 3, and lastly, most importantly, three new Star Wars movies set in The Dawn of The Jedi era, New Republic Era and The New Jedi Order Era post Rise of Skywalker, with Daisy Ridley’s Rey returning because the nihilistic ending of the Skywalker Saga wasn’t apparent enough.
We also get more details on Indiana Jones, DC’s Knight Terrors event, Stranger Things and more. All this and more on Neo-Reality Collective!
