NSA Didn't Purge Collected Data, DoD Equipment Vulnerable to Hacks | Subverse News

A recent declassified report on the NSA shows that even after the agency claimed it had purged the hundreds of millions of records on American citizens, they still held onto some of it. An audit shows the Department of Defense inadvertently bought hardware that could potentially be used by spies or hackers. New technology used by the military is testing the legal question of what is considered intrusion or a public vantage point.
