Since the start of the new semester, campuses around the country have been protesting against the new payment system implemented this year and the defunding of student beneficiaries. This week, NSFAS held a media briefing addressing the teething problems with the new payment system and the reasons behind why they have stood behind defunding students midway through the academic year. They have also held meetings with the institutions of higher learning given the protest action. In this hour, we speak to the fund to address the queries that have been made by students and parents alike.
