This week I wanted to switch gears a bit and dive into a matter that's been sitting in the back of mind for a while. We've all been seeing the hate and attacks being made against Asian Americans over the past year. And while I don't condone or support anyone being unjustly attacked, I was having a hard time empathizing with the Asian community. So I reached out to a couple of friends to discuss why that is. I wanted to hear some of their struggles and get glimpse of what they deal with living in America. In hopes that it would grant me a better understanding to bridge the gap.
