NSW Police Force has successfully made its first arrest using a new high-tech drone system in Moree, western NSW. The drone, stationed on the roof of the local police station, was used to track a suspect involved in a break and enter incident. The system is operated remotely by a pilot based at Polair headquarters in Bankstown and is currently in trial stage before potential statewide rollout.
