UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot and killed in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday morning in an apparent "brazen, targeted attack," according to police. A manhunt for the shooter is now underway.

President-elect Donald Trump has asked a court to dismiss the criminal case against him related to his efforts to challenge the 2020 election results in Georgia.
