New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron issued a ruling on Feb. 16, ordering former President Donald Trump and Trump Organization executives to pay $355 million in damages, and barring the former president from doing business in the state for three years. In Georgia, the hearing into the Fulton County district attorney’s alleged misconduct continued into a second day. Fani Willis’s legal team declined to call her to the stand, after her explosive testimony on Thursday.

President Joe Biden reacted in a speech to the death of Russian politician Alexei Navalny, a prominent critic of the Kremlin, accusing Russian President Vladimir Putin of assassinating him. President Biden made the remarks ahead of his visit to East Palestine, Ohio—more than a year after a train derailment released toxic chemicals in the village.

A former FBI informant was charged with lying about the president. He’s accused of fabricating reports that Hunter and Joe Biden received bribes from Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

Authorities in Missouri charged two teenagers over the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Parade on Wednesday. Officials say additional charges could be on the way as the investigation continues.
