California Governor Gavin Newsom issued an executive order Thursday to direct state agencies on how to remove homeless encampments. This comes a month after a Supreme Court ruling allowed cities to enforce bans on sleeping outside in public spaces.

President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris met separately with the Israeli Prime Minister, as the White House says a ceasefire deal is coming. The administration also strongly condemns pro-Hamas protests that turned violent.

The Israel military has recovered the bodies of five Israelis in the Gaza Strip. The Israel Defense Forces said these individuals were all murdered on October 7th and terrorists took their bodies back to Gaza.
