Judge Juan Merchan on Friday directed Manhattan prosecutors to inform Michael Cohen, their star witness in former President Donald Trump’s criminal trial, to stop speaking publicly about the case. 

The United Nations General Assembly approved a resolution granting Palestine new rights and reviving its bid for full membership. The United States and Israel were among nine nations that voted against the resolution.
