President Joe Biden announced that Israel and Hezbollah have agreed to a cease-fire that will go into effect at 4 a.m. local time (9 p.m. ET on Tuesday). Under the deal, Israel must evacuate Lebanese territory within 60 days.

The 11th Circuit Court dismissed special counsel Jack Smith’s appeal of President-elect Donald Trump’s classified documents case on Tuesday, bringing an end to the federal case. Smith says he asked for the dismissal because of a department policy to not prosecute sitting presidents.
