President Joe Biden addressed the nation from the Oval Office on July 24 for the first time since announcing his decision to leave the presidential race. President Biden said he put aside personal ambition to pass the torch to a new generation.

In testimony before a House Committee, FBI Director Christopher Wray explained what his agency knows about the suspect who shot former President Donald Trump. Mr. Wray also spoke about what the shooter might have learned from researching the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. In addition, new body camera footage from the Trump rally has emerged.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a joint session of Congress on July 24, for the 4th time in his career. President Biden will meet with Mr. Netanyahu on Thursday, though Vice President Kamala Harris will meet him in a separate meeting. Former President Trump plans to meet with the Israeli leader on July 26.
