President Joe Biden is calling on President-elect Donald Trump to reconsider tariffs on Mexico and Canada. Earlier this week, Trump promised massive tariffs on goods from the two countries. He accused Mexico and Canada of failing to take adequate action to prevent fentanyl and illegal immigrants from flowing into the United States. Several Democratic lawmakers from Connecticut said they received bomb threats this Thanksgiving Day. Reps. Joe Courtney, Jahana Hayes, Jim Himes, and John Larson issued individual statements to say they were targeted. Law enforcement looked into each threat and said there was no evidence of any bombs.
