God calls believers to be holy, just as He is holy (1 Peter 1:14-16). Holiness is not optional, but a requirement for those who follow Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:7). Believers are called to separate themselves from the world and its influences (Exodus 19:5-6). Holiness is a lifelong process, requiring ongoing effort and obedience to God’s commands (Leviticus 20:26).
Believers are called to be holy people, set apart for God’s purposes (Romans 1:7, 1 Corinthians 1:2).
