Jonathan Swift was a master of sustained sarcasm and satire. In 1729 he wrote "A Modest Proposal" about how to solve Irish poverty. There was nothing modest about his proposal and it remains a satirical classic nearly 300 years later. 🇮🇪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧✍️👶👄😜
