A couple of Italian Renaissance gents who loved to write were first to publish many of the fairy tales we know and love today. Thank goodness for them and for all the world's fairy tales. From magical cats to girls with impossibly long hair and wolves dressed as grandma it's always a pleasure to dive in to a fairy tale.
