Hosted by Ray Cooke, NuDirections is a journey linking, new, favourites, standards, experimental, vintage and obscure music from jazz, nu jazz, funk, neo soul, soul, Afrocentric, Latin, hip hop, house and world.

Ray has been an avid music collector from the mid 60's. A DJ, promoter, radio broadcaster, club owner and live music venue owner, Ray has no real musical styles as such, but a big soft spot for jazz, always searching for the extreme and hard-to-categorise sound that has so often fallen between the cracks.
