* God had promised Moses several times He would lead the Israelites into a land flowing with milk and honey (Exodus 3:8, 16-17, 13:1-22).

* God promised it would be an ossum place (even Joshua reminded them of the promise in Numbers 14:8).

* On this foundation, read these four verses.

* Moses was doubting the land God said would be good!

* When you doubt God you end up with:

* 1) Loss of faith. They focused on the size of the problem and not the power of the Person (God).

* 2) Loss of power. They were unable to fight the enemy.

* 3) Loss of opportunity. The opposition kept the opportunity because they did not take it from them.
