Numbers 29

Listen Later

In Numbers 29, the Fall feasts are reviewed. The first is the Festival of Trumpets. Trumpets were used to gather people, move people, and sound a battle alarm. The two times trumpets are used directly in connection to God are when the laws were given at Mt Sinai and the day Jesus will return for His people. The trumpets will sound and Jesus will come again. It's a promise. We don't know the time or the hour, but He's coming. The Day of Atonement is soul searching and confession. During the tribulation years, there will be judgement from God and a lot of people will search their souls and turn to God. The Festival of Shelters is a reminder of the 40 years they lived in tents as they journeyed through the wilderness. There will be a millennium time of a 1,000 year reign with Jesus. Jesus is our only secure shelter and cover. He is with us in every single step and will never leave us if we choose Him. He promises us eternity with God. We are safe in God's arms forever.
